Birdhouse – Spalted Maple (BH13)

I made this birdhouse from two pieces of spalted maple. The ornament is hollow and has a small bird on the birdhouse perch. The ornament is approximately 2 1/4″ long and 1 5/8″ in diameter. There is a small chip that came out of the birdhouse roof, which you can see in the pictures. The pattern in this wood makes up for the missing chip.
