Thunderbird Bowl

The bowl, which features 18 thunderbirds, is made of 559 pieces. The pieces are walnut and maple. To assemble the thunderbird feature ring, the process began with creating 18 thunderbirds, which were later cut into segments and then glued together to form a ring. After finishing the feature ring, I preceded by cutting the segments for the additional rings. In total, there are 10 rings in the bowl. Each piece, or segment, was glued together to create the 10 rings. Then, I stacked the rings on top of one another and hand turned them. The bowl is approximately 10″ in diameter and 4″ tall.
