These dragon twist pens are simple to make. I used pen kits from PSI and turned the wood. Below are three different pens I made from different woods: Wenge, Rose Wood, and Leopard Wood. These pens are heavy in your hand but have a good feel to them.
The nib is inside the pen, so you have to unscrew the pen, flip the lower half around, and reattach it to the top. See Figure 1 to see how the pen looks when it is ready to write.
